This article will explain what you will be able to do with eHenke.com as each version is completed. Keep in mind, this is a work in progress! :)

What is eHenke.com?

by Warren

Basically, eHenke.com is a free service I have developed to help build intimate relationships, encourage personal growth, and share thoughts and ideas on these topics over the internet..

Version 1.0
First; eHenke.com will allow you to instantly create a website like mine (see it here). You can customize your website using your own colors (and of course articles and pictures). Using my simple admin tool, you can post new journal entries (and I'd like to note that you can also mark entries as private or post them anonymously), book reviews, movie reviews, stories, essays, or pictures! You will be able to form groups of individuals as a summary for your postings (a group of friends, a family, a church congregation, a discussion group). You will be able to join multiple groups and limit certain postings to specific groups if you wish.

Version 2.0
Second; Certain individuals will post items as a "featured author." You can trust a featured author to bring you the movies, books, essays, and questions that will aid you in your search for self-improvement and introspection. These are individuals with a knack for finding or creating material that has substantial impact and benefit to the community. By going to the "featured" section, you can get some great ideas on movies, books, and writing topics for your journal.

Version 3.0
Third; the community (comprised of registered users) feature will display all postings (that aren't marked as private) in a setting allowing you to search by topic, user, rating, or type...imagine being able to search for a certain topic like "depression" and instantly find books, movies, journal entries, photos, and articles posted by others and pertaining to depression. Imagine sharing an intimate journal entry about pain and loss and receiving comments of sympathy and support from others who are moved by your experience.

Version 4.0
Fourth; After all this, you have an indexed/searchable journal filled with feelings, thoughts on movies and books, and photographs which you can read online or print. Want to look over your history and read about your growth in the area of gender roles? Search your journal! Want to read about your highs and lows related to your job, find references to a loved one, or find entries related to a particular family vacation? Search your journal! See all your entries; journal, essays, books, photos, and movies that have influenced you in this area.

For thoughts, comments, to receive update notifications, and to encourage me along (the more of that I get, the quicker it'll get finished) send me an email: warren@ehenke.com.
